Best Article

The Editorial Board of the Libyan Journal of Infectious Diseases is pleased to announce a competition for the best article(s) published or accepted for publication in the LJID.

Rules and conditions:
In order to enter the competition, the article(s) should fulfillthefollowingconditions:
• The article must be an original one and not published or under consideration for publication by any other journal.
• The article must be published or accepted for publication in the LJID.
• The article subject matter should be of Libyan origin.
• In multiple author articles, only the main author will be eligible for the award.
• All articles published by the LJID in a year are eligible for the award for that year.
• Members of LJID editorial board, advisory board and members of selection committee are not eligible for the award.

Method of selection :
The winner will be selected by an independent committee comprising 2 members of the editorial board and 3 members of the advisory board. Their decision will be finalandbinding.Thisselectionwillbemostlybasedonpre-establishedcriteria,scientificmeritandrelevance to the practice of infectious diseases. The committee, however, reserves the right not to award any if no suitable article is found.
