The Libyan
Journal of Infectious Diseases aims to
encourage research by the local medical
community and publishes papers reporting
original clinical and
scientificresearchwhichareofagood
standard and contribute to the
advancement of knowledge in infectious
disease as well as related
fields.Authorsareaskedtodisclose any
affiliations,includingfinancial,consultant,orinstitutionalassociations,
that might lead to bias or a
conflictofinterests.
Submission of Manuscripts
Manuscripts submitted for consideration
for publication in the LJID must be
previously unpublished and should not be
under simultaneous consideration by
another journal. Manuscripts are to be
sent to: The Editor in-Chief, Libyan
Journal of Infectious Diseases, P.O.Box
7224, Benghazi, Libya. Submissions
should consist of three copies including
figuresandtables.Manuscriptsshouldbetypedonwhite
bond paper of A4 size (210 +297 mm).
Margins should be not less than 2.5 cm.-
Double spacing should be used throughout
the manuscript including the following
sections; title page, abstract and key
words, text, acknowledgements,
references, individual tables and
captions, each of which should begin on
a separate sheet. Pages should be
numbered consecutively, beginning with
the title page, and the page number
should be placed at the lower right hand
corner of each page. Abbreviations, if
used, should be
definedontheirfirstappearanceinthetextandthosenotacceptedby
international bodies should be avoided.
